I am sure that you would agree that it is an all-out war to keep Coronavirus, COVID-19 from causing an unprecedented level of transmission throughout the country. Presbyterian Homes of Georgia is doing its part as we work faithfully to serve a vulnerable, high risk population of seniors. At present, I can report that we have no known cases of COVID-19 in any of our five communities.
We are diligently following best practice prevention guidance from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), the Department of Public Health (DPH), the Georgia Healthcare Association and LeadingAge Georgia in order to keep residents and the staff who serve them, safe.
We ask your understanding as all visitors, volunteers and non-essential health care personnel are restricted from entering our communities; resident group gatherings/activities are curtailed; and rigorous screening of residents and health care personnel is on-going.
As we do our work on the front lines, we ask for your prayers. The coming weeks will test each of us as the battle against this novel virus runs its course. While each day will bring new challenges, I give you my pledge that each of us at Presbyterian Homes of Georgia will stay the course and serve with our utmost dedication all those whose care is in our trust.
