Church Involvement

The support and involvement of churches in Georgia are keys to the successful ministry of Presbyterian Homes. Throughout the year, church members donate time, money, energy and resources. By doing so, they ensure that our mission of exceptional care thrives. Three times each year, the churches of Georgia unite in their efforts to support the residents of Presbyterian Homes through the annual Mother's Day Offering, Christmas Angel Offering, and Santa Claus Express.

Resident with Santa during a Christmas party Each May, the statewide Mother's Day Offering honors the special inspiration given by mothers and the other significant people in our lives. The Christmas Angel Offering is an opportunity to support the charitable care provided by the ministry during the holiday season of giving. Presbyterian Women support our nursing home residents by collecting clothing, toiletries, and gifts that are delivered to residents by Santa during our Christmas parties.
